Wausau Wisconsin, Quest for the Golden Growler Homebrew Club Challenge

ATTENTION HOMEBREW CLUBS!

Your club is cordially invited to our 8th annual Inter-club homebrew competition.

This year’s style is: “Dunkelweizen”

In the past Clubs have brewed the specific style, picked the best 3 of all the clubs entries and sent them to Wausau WI to compete with other clubs. This is not a BJCP event.

The Golden Growler is one of 3 parts of the competition and is the only “Club Only” portion on the event. The judging will take place on or before March 3, 2012 and will be judged by Brew Masters, Brewers, BJCP Certified Judges, Homebrewers and Local Celebrity Beer Enthusiasts using the BJCP forms and format. Entries must be in before SATURDAY, February 4, 2012 at 12:00 AM.

The other two portions of the event are the People’s Choice and the Free Style Style (no I didn’t stutter) which is open to individual brewers and will be more details by the end of next week. Stay tuned!
