July Meeting

This is a friendly reminder that we will be having our normal monthly meeting this coming Monday, July 15th at 7pm at Old Dog Tavern. Geoff Groff will be giving a talk on meads with some commercial examples. If you have some of your own meads at home, please bring them in to share.

July Picnic

We will also be having an informal picnic this coming Sunday, July 14th. We have reserved the Meijer Shelter at Markin Glenn Park. Everyone is welcome to come share beer, food and (hopefully) some sunshine. We will be getting started at noon and have the space reserved until park closing around 8pm. The club will provide charcoal for grilling and coolers with ice.

Roast 2013

We are excited to announce the details of this year's Roast event. For those who have never attended, the Roast is an opportunity for all of our members and their friends and family to come together to share homebrew and enjoy high quality BBQ. This year's location is Cold Brook Park in Climax, 20 minutes outside of Kalamazoo.

Tickets will go on sale at this month's meeting. Prices are $15 for members and $20 for non-members. The ticket covers the cost of your entrance into the park, dinner from Sean Anderson Catering and a collectible pint glass featuring this year's artwork provided by Alex Mantakounis.
