January Meeting

This is a friendly reminder that we will be meeting this coming Monday, January 17th for our monthly club meeting. This month's topic on the Beer Judge Certification Program (BJCP). This will act as an introduction to judging in general and how the BJCP guidelines serve as a definition for nearly every beer style.

We will once again be meeting Old Dog's Pub so please, no outside beverages.

Winter Bus Trip

We are happy to announce that we will be sponsoring a bus trip Saturday, January 29th. We will be chartering a bus that will take us to 4-6 breweries or beer bars in the southwest Michigan area. Seating will be limited to 39 people and tickets will be $40 in advance. We will be leaving downtown Kalamazoo at 10am and returning approximately 8pm.

Tickets will be available at the January meeting. If you're interested, make sure to attend so you can purchase your ticket before they sell out. After that, they can be purchased through Vice President Alex Mantakounis at Tempo Vino winery downtown. In both case we will accept cash and checks made out to KLOB. Keep checking the KLOB website as we finalize more details.
