"Beer Styles of Old Kalamazoo" Join us online for another Zoom Meeting! We will be featuring local historian, Keith Howard, the Digital Preservation Specialist at the Kalamazoo Public Library. Keith will be doing a multi-part series on the Brewing History of Kalamazoo. This month, Keith's topic will be the Beer Styles brewed in Old Kalamazoo. Please remember to be signed into the meeting and ready to go right 7pm. Don't forget your "meeting" beers!

Cider Pressing & KLOB Get-Together - October 3rd, 12-5pm
It's Fall and that means it's time for Cider! Join us at Husted Farms for our annual cider pressing! Plus, Scott has offered up his farm for an outdoor KLOB Gathering! (socially distant of course) Grab some fresh cider and then come hang out, & have a few beers! We'll bring some local craft brew to share, and Scott has many of his ciders to try as well. Bring your own folding chair, cooler, weather appropriate clothing, face mask, etc...
For Cider: bring your own sanitized pail or fermenter. Cost $4/gallon. Pear cider may be available as well. Hope to see everyone there!

KLOB KUP
While it may be a few months away, it's never to early to start thinking about the KLOB KUP, our annual club beer competition. This competition is open to all KLOB members. Each member is allowed up to three entries, and the beers can be any style in the 2015 BJCP Style Guidelines. We need two bottles per entry, with ID tags, and recipe entry form. Entries will be due at the December meeting. We’ll judge them and the winner will be announced at the January meeting.
