Cider Pressing #2

Scott at Husted Farms has another batch of apples ready to be pressed into cider for our club. If you missed out on the first pressing, here's another chance to get your fill of fresh cider. Stop by Husted Farms on October 24th, 12-3pm.

Bring your own sanitized pail or fermenter. Cost $4/gallon. Pear cider may be available as well.

KLOB KUP

While it may be a few months away, it's never to early to start thinking about the KLOB KUP, our annual club beer competition. This competition is open to all KLOB members. Each member is allowed up to three entries, and the beers can be any style in the 2015 BJCP Style Guidelines. We need two bottles per entry, with ID tags, and recipe entry form. Entries will be due at the December meeting. We’ll judge them and the winner will be announced at the January meeting. We'll have more details shortly...
