August Meeting

Get ready for an exciting August as we gather at Brewery Outré (567 E Ransom St, Kalamazoo, MI 49007) on August 19 at 7:00pm for our monthly meeting!
With Oktoberfest just around the corner, Jason Glatz will be diving into the world of Festbiers—those golden brews that sit perfectly between a Munich Helles and a Märzen. If you’re a fan of Oktoberfest or just love exploring new beers, this is a presentation you won’t want to miss. Feel free to bring your own Festbier, or any beer you’re excited to share. And if you have friends who are curious about this style, bring them along too—the more, the merrier!

KLOB Roast 2024

Mark your calendars for September 7, 2024, as we fire up the grills at Markin Glenn Park (5300 North Westnedge Avenue, Kalamazoo, MI 49004) for the annual KLOB Roast!
Join us at the Tyler Shelter starting at 12:00 pm for an afternoon of great food, cold brews, and even better company. Tickets will be available at the August meeting for $25. You will get one of our limited-edition glasses featuring artwork by our very own members. The club will provide the grillables (think Brats, burgers, and more), and we encourage everyone to bring a dish to share. And of course, bring plenty of beer to keep the party going! Got a favorite yard game? Bring it along—we’ll have a kubb game ready to go.

September Meeting

Our September meeting is scheduled for September 16, with the location to be confirmed soon. Geoff Groff will keep the German lager theme going with a presentation on Schwarzbiers—dark, smooth, and perfect for the season.
