The KLOB Roast is this Saturday! Join the fun at Markin Glen Park from 12-7pm on 9/18 at the Tyler Picnic Shelter. The weather looks good, partly cloudy and warm. Every one that signs up for the Roast gets the official "Return of the KLOB Roast" commemorative pint glass!
Our dinner year is catered by Shawarma King (with some vegetarian options) but feel free to bring any snacks you'd like to munch on. Plus don't forget some beer to share (this is a BYOB event) We'll have the club jockey box for any corneys you have to put on tap.

August Meeting-

Our Kayak Trip is this Sunday! The weather looks sunny and warm, so don't forget your sunscreen! Grab your boat and some beers and joins us this Sunday at1pm. We will commence at Merrill Park (map) and end at Verburg Park(map). Plan to arrive at 1pm at Merrill Park to unload, then we'll car pool to spot your car at Verburg Park. Estimated time to launch at Merrill Park 1:30pm. Once we make it to Verburg Park, we'll have our portable grill to cook up some brats and other snacks.
Summer Session beer competition - What's your favorite crushable summer brew? Something to enjoy a few after mowing the lawn. For our June Meeting, we're having a Summer Session beer compeitition! Brew up your best easy drinking lawnmower beer and bring a few bottles or a growler to the June meeting. We'll taste them as a group and vote for the favorite. Beer can be any style, just as long as it's a lower abv beer and quenching for the Summer (please, no 15% bourbon barrel aged Imperial stouts) Prizes for the wiiners!
Tomorrow is our outdoor beer drinkin' party at Husted Farms, 12-5pm. Come hang out and have a few beers with folks you may not have seen in a while! We'll have the grill going with freshly made brats, plus other snacks to munch on. Feel free to bring something to throw on the grill if you like. We'll also have yard games to play, and of course beer to drink!
Itchin' to get outside and drink some beers together? Husted Farms is hosting an outdoor get-together for the club in the apple orchard on Saturday, May 22nd from 12-5pm. We'll have a few corneys of beer on the club jockey box, snacks to munch on, and the fire pit roaring. Feel free to bring some of your own brew to share with others.
