Happy New Year Klobbers! Just a reminder our monthly meeting is coming up on Monday, January 15th, 7pm at Boatyard Brewery. The topic will be Mead. If you have examples of homebrewed mead, feel free to bring it. We will also be announcing the winner of the KLOB KUP at this meeting!
Monday, Dec. 18th is our monthly meeting at Boatyard Brewery. December is always our annual Holiday Potluck, so please bring a dish/snacks to share. This month's beer style is Barley Wine, so there will be samples of several different brands for the meeting. We will be taking renewals for 2018 memberships at this meeting too. Per our bylaws, we will also have nominations for officers for the 2018 calendar year at this meeting. We will begin accepting membership renewals for 2018 at Monday's meeting as well.

This coming Monday, Oct. 16th, is our monthly meeting at Boatyard Brewery at 7pm. This month's presentation will be on New Hop Varieties. We will have beer samples brewed with 5 new and experimental hops. Hope to see you there!

This coming Monday is our monthly meeting at Boatyard Brewery, 7pm. This month's meeting we are featuring a special guest, Ryan Hamilton, Executive Director of the Michigan Barley Association, who will be providing a presentation on barley and malting. The program will provide a broad overview of the history and technology of malting with specific attention to barley and malt analysis, quality specifications, and the state of the industry in Michigan.
