It's that time of year again, it's our annual Holiday potluck! Our December Holiday Meeting is this Sunday, 12/4/22, 2-5pm, at Final Gravity in Kalamazoo in partnership with Keepers of Craft homebrewing club. Please bring a scrumptious dish to share for our potluck. We'll supply the plates, napkins, cutlery, etc. Plus we'll have some exciting seasonal beers to try too! Hope to see you there!

This month, we will feature another of the Siebel Institute's Sensory Training kits, but with more advanced beer off-notes! Try these 5 different flavors: Butyric acid, ethyl acetate, isoamyl acetate, barnyard, and geraniol. Sample these compounds in a neutral beer, and see if you can detect the flavor and aromas of each. It the last Cider Pressing of the season! Stop by Husted Farms on 11/13, and pick up some freshly pressed cider, anytime from 11am-4pm. Bring your own sanitized pail or carboy to fill up with cider, $4/gallon. Cider will be a blend of JonaGold, Mutsu, Northern Spy, Jonathan, Fuji, & Ida Red.
Rain or shine event, dress accordingly!
Just a reminder that our meeting this Monday, October 17th, 7pm, will be at Brewery Outre.
This month we'll be taking a little "field trip" to Brewery Outre, one of the newest breweries in town. The owner Ted will be giving us a behind the scenes tour, and a presentation of his beers what he has going on at his facility.
